Wyoming could experience the coldest temperatures of the winter this week with the cold front that swept in yesterday. The National Weather Service is forecasting record or near record-breaking cold temperatures during the week. This could cause frostbite or hypothermia for those unprepared for this bitter cold.
The frigid conditions follow a period of unseasonably mild weather. Temperatures could fall by as much as 60 degrees in one week, with a low of minus 18 degrees forecast for Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.
