A tragic accident last week north of West Yellowstone left 13 bison dead when a semi-trailer truck collided with them.
The crash occurred about 630 pm on Wednesday on US Highway 191 near the junction of Highway 287.
Local authorities were forced to euthanize several animals on the scene due to their serious injuries.
Bison frequently congregate near the roadside in the area. West Yellowstone Police Chief Mike Gavagan reminded travelers to drive slowly through the corridor.
The accident is still under investigation.
