Community Foundation of Jackson Hole Announces Competitive Grants

The Community Foundation of Jackson Hole has announced that its Competitive Grants program supported 43 nonprofit organizations with a total of $563,800 during its 2021 granting cycle. The Community Foundation awards grants annually across six fields of interest including Animals, Arts & Culture, Civic, Conservation & Environment, Education, Recreation, and Health & Human Services.
Given the challenges facing so many this year, a focus was placed on addressing fundamental health and human service needs while still supporting the vibrancy of our community with funding for varied programs in other areas. The grant requests were reviewed by a volunteer committee comprised of 36 community members, high school students, and Community Foundation board and staff.
Awards are based upon community need, expected impact, and organizational capacity. Funding for the Community Foundation’s Competitive Grants Program is provided by Old Bill’s Fun Run Co-Challengers, individual donors and endowed funds held at the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole.
