Community Foundation of Jackson Hole President Katherine Conover took the opportunity Monday night during the distribution of funds from Old Bill’s Fun Run to reflect on her years with the organization leading up to her retirement next summer. She reflected on those past 14 years where she says she was in an unique position to witness “the profound generosity of this community.”
“It has been more than an honor to serve as the president of the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, and to have partnered with you. Thank you for giving me that ineffable privilege. You are the DNA that keeps Old Bill’s the heart of the community,“ she said.
Conover was hired in 2005 from her role as Community Safety Network’s executive director. Over the years, Conover oversaw a 136% growth of the Community Foundation’s assets to more than $78-million. The endowment portfolio has also grown from $8 million in 2005 to $42 million today. The Community Foundation Board has appointed a Search Committee, which will engage an Executive Search firm to find the next President
