Construction beginning today in the Gill Addition will cause some rerouting of traffic from now through Wednesday from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm. The road blockage will facilitateexcavation and installation of buried power and communications along and across East Gill Avenue. Utility installation on the north side of East Gill Avenue will require a lane shift on Monday and Tuesday causing the main access to the Recreation Center to be blocked during a portion of this work. The access at the Recreation Center’s western parking lot however will still be available. Then on Wednesday, East Gill Avenue at North King Street will be closed and North King Street will be open as an alternate route.
