Teton County Coroner Dr Brent Blue will hold a press conference today to further discuss the autopsy of Gabby Petito who was murdered in the Spread Creek dispersed camping area north of Jackson.
Blue, who confirmed the identity of remains on September 21, said the initial determination of the cause of death of the 22-year-old Petito was homicide.
The FBI continues to search for her fiancé Brian Laundrie who has been named a person of interest in the case.
Petito had been traveling to a variety of national parks in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming with Laundrie, camping in their converted van along the way. Petito was reported missing September 11.
Her remains were discovered near Spread Creek on Sunday, September 19.
The press conference will take place at 12:30 PM.
