It was an apparent misunderstanding last week when someone took a couch and Christmas decorations from Pinky G’s on Tuesday night. In the high-profile incident, a pair of individuals were seen on surveillance camera when they pulled up in the alley behind the back entrance to the Pink Garter building at about 11:45 Tuesday night, picked up a sofa and put it in the car.
In a Facebook post, Pinky G’s Owner Tom Fay said the staff had put the couch out into the breezeway during open mic night and failed to put it back into the restaurant before closing. Within a few days the couch was returned with a note reading, “Sorry, [we] thought it was up for grabs.” Fay responded via instagram saying, “thank you to the guys who brought our couch back. We appreciate your honesty in this misunderstanding.”
