Hotel Jackson got the go-ahead Monday to pursue Phase 2 of its construction plan.Some business owners wanted the project to begin after the busy summer tourist season. However, the council approved the project to begin yet this month beginning with site demolition followed by excavation. The project will involve some constriction of traffic lanes on North Cache Street north of Deloney through much of the summer.
