During a special meeting yesterday, the Teton County Commissioners voted 3-2 to extend the current Teton District Health Office mandate requiring face masks inside public places within Teton County. This public health order does not mandate mask wearing in any outdoor situations. The order is extended through December 31st.
Under the order, masks will be required when the County risk level is Red or Orange. However, if the risk level decreases to Yellow or Green, masks will not be required. The community will be notified when the County’s risk level moves to Yellow. On Monday, the Town of Jackson extended the mandate within the city limits.
