Even in their first week of service, the two COVID-19 testing kiosks in Jackson Hole have been seeing a lot of activity. Teton County Health Department partnered with the Wyoming Department of Health and Curative to bring the two COVID-19 testing kiosks to the county. Public Health Response Coordinator Rachael Wheeler explains that they are being used to assist Teton County Health Department in expanding their ability to monitor public exposure to COVID-19.
Wheeler said, “Our goal at these kiosks is to be able to increase our testing capacity in Teton County, and to focus on testing close contacts to people who have tested positive for COVID-19, and to also provide surveillance testing for local businesses.”
The test is free, but those wishing to obtain one at either the kiosk at Teton Village or the Deloney parking lot downtown need to have an appointment. One of the techs managing the in-town kiosk estimated they have been seeing over 100 people a day already. Those interested in being tested can make arrangements at tetoncountywy.gov/2212/Testing
