
The Jackson Hole and Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center on the National Elk Refuge closed yesterday after the Teton County Health Department moved the county’s COVID risk level to the Red or high level.
The move to close the interior of the visitor center is in line with agency guidance, which prioritizes the health and safety of refuge staff, volunteers, partners, and visitors. Beginning Sunday, limited visitor services will be offered outside the visitor center 7 days a week, weather dependent.
