The Teton County Health Department has announced it is now offering free COVID-19 active disease testing to individuals who qualify based on insurance status and symptoms. As of Wednesday, uninsured or under-insured individuals with COVID-19 related symptoms can call the Teton County Health Department to schedule an appointment for a free test. The Health Department will then provide a voucher for testing at either Emerg-A-Care or St. John’s Health. Testing is being highly encouraged for anyone experiencing symptoms, regardless of how mild or severe. Those symptoms include fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, muscle aches, chills, headache, lost of taste and/or smell, or other flu-like symptoms.
