Cruising critters adorn pathway

A new, permanent mural has been completed by local artist Marco Miller at the Path 22 underpass. Miller was selected by members of the Public Art and Pathways Task Force for his mural entitled “Cruising Critters”. The mural depicts regional fauna on bicycles of all sizes and is mirrored on both sides of the pathway. Each animal, hand-drawn in a quirky but realistic fashion, relates to the bicycle below it, from the magpie to the moose. Miller is a first-generation Mexican-American Experiential/Creative Event Producer, Fabrication Designer, and Fine Artist from Chicago, Illinois, and is currently based in Jackson.
