The Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department will be setting up a seasonal dog park on the east side of the Teton County Fairgrounds along Snow King Avenue. Parks & Recreation in collaboration with PAWS of Jackson Hole will again set up the chain link fence enclosure with double door entrances to accommodate off leash recreational opportunities for canines during the winter months. The anticipated date that the park will become available is Tuesday, November 6th. The park will then be open to the public until May 1st, weather dependent, from sunrise to sunset. PAWS of Jackson Hole, the non-profit partner in this venture, will be providing mutt mitts and handling refuse collection for proper disposal. Users of the park are asked to be respectful of others using the facility and clean up after their pets.
