Authorities in Swan Valley are seeking the person or persons responsible for shooting and killing a pet dog Saturday morning near the Blowout campground along Palisade Reservoir for their trip home. The dog’s owner reports they were loading their ATV at the campground when they heard the gunshots and followed the sound to the road where they contacted people in a white truck with a Teton County, Idaho plate who refused to talk. They found their pet farther down the road where it had been shot to death. Sergeant Brian Lovell urges anyone with information about those responsible for this incident to contact the Bonneville County Sheriff’s office at 208-529-1200, or report anonymously through Crimestoppers 208-522-1983.
