The City of Driggs, Idaho is cracking down on mask requirements as COVID cases locally and nationally continue to swell. As part of the COVID-19 protocol for city employees, it is now required that masks be worn in City Offices, and that all meetings with staff are by appointment only.
This ensures that the number of people in City Hall is manageable, and proper spacing can be maintained. Residents and businesses can pick up free KN95 masks at the Driggs City Hall. Current city guidelines include that everyone 2 years or older who is not fully vaccinated should wear a mask in indoor public places, but in general, you do not need to wear a mask in outdoor settings.
Residents should consider wearing a mask in crowded outdoor settings and for activities with close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated. It is also recommended those who are fully vaccinated, should maximize protection and prevent possibly spreading COVID-19 to others by wearing a mask indoors and in public areas of substantial or high transmission.
