Teton County High School in Driggs has sent a letter to parents informing them that a ninth-grade student has been confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19, but they assure the student has been quarantined for the past week. According to Principal Samuel Zogg, the school is working with Eastern Idaho Public Health regarding contact tracing with others at the school. At the same time, the student and family have been asked to quarantine for the next 14 days. He requests that parents monitor their children for any signs of illness and keep them home if they are sick. Principal Zogg also reminds families that students are to wear a mask at school and in public, practice social distancing whenever possible, and wash hands frequently.
