“We are closed today for some clean-up – but don’t worry, we will be open 11 am Tuesday.” That was the message posted on Facebook yesterday by Hole Bowl after a man driving a large SUV smashed through the front door of the bowling alley about 2:45 am and raided the bar. Jackson Police Sergeant Michelle Weber says 56-year-old Christopher Rensink was arrested at Motel 6 where officers found him intoxicated and still in his car. He was charged with driving under the influence, interference with a peace officer, destruction of property, and burglary. The car he was driving was also reported to be unlicensed. Investigators are still trying to determine if anything other than liquor was taken. Damage to the entrance to Hole Bowl was estimated to be in excess of $30,000.
