On Tuesday, October 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Town of Jackson will be hosting a Drug Take Back Day at the Town of Jackson Parking Lot, located at 150 East Pearl Street. This event offers an opportunity for community members to safely dispose of their unused or expired medications. Proper disposal of medications helps protect children, pets, and the environment from potential harm.
All medications in pill, liquid, or inhaler form, whether prescription or over-the-counter, will be accepted. However, sharps and syringes will not be accepted during the event. Safely disposing of these items prevents misuse and ensures they don’t contaminate the environment.
