Yellowstone National Park has announced plans to open Dunraven Pass for the season on Friday if the weather permits. The gates to the pass are to be swung open at 8:00 am, but park officials caution travelers should anticipate possible temporary road closures, especially in the spring, due to inclement weather and dangerous driving conditions. Drivers are reminded that the maximum speed on Dunraven Pass is 35 mph and in select areas, it is 25 mph. Current road conditions can be found on the park’s website or at any park information center.
