Hot and mainly dry conditions will be in place across western and
central Wyoming through this weekend. Winds will be light, but
much of the vegetation below 8500 ft is very dry. Temperatures
will reach the mid to upper 90s over the lower elevations, with
temperatures over 100 possible in the Bighorn Basin Saturday.
Relative humidity will drop below 15 percent in the afternoons.
Check for local burning restrictions in your area. Outdoor
burning is highly discouraged! Activities that produce sparks,
such as grinding and welding are not recommended. Avoid parking
in high grass and do not throw cigarette butts out. Drown your
campfires!
