The Wyoming Elks Southwest District, made up of the Jackson, Lander, Riverton, and Rawlins Elks Lodges, held their annual Hoop Shoot district competition Saturday. The district competition determines which three boys and which three girls will advance to the state competition in Casper. Jackson Elks Lodge No. 1713 sent Crew Lancaster, Cooper Lancaster, and Isaac Larsen to Riverton for the district competition where the three swept their respective age groups. The Jackson Elks Lodge also advanced Leah Wilber to the district girls’ competition, but she was unable to attend due to an injury. Larson and the two Lancaster boys will now advance to the state competition in Casper on February 16th.
