Wyoming’s U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, announced at a news conference Saturday that he does not plan to run for reelection in 2020. Enzi says he has already servedin the US Senate for more than 22 years which has involved being in Wyoming most weekends often traveling 500 miles by car each weekend with his wife Diana. When his term ends in 2020, he will have served in the Senate for Wyoming over 24 years. That’s a longer elected Senate service than anyone in Wyoming history.Enzi says still, after this term he plans to find other ways to serve the state. Currently, Enzi is the Chairman of the Budget Committee and a member of the Finance Committee, Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee and the Joint Committee on Taxation.
