Fall River Electric, a nonprofit cooperative serving over 20,000 connections in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming, will hold elections for three board member positions in June 2025. The nine-member board, elected by owner-members, sets policies and ensures the cooperative’s financial stability. This year, four candidates are running for three-year terms in District 4 (eastern Driggs), District 7 (southern Island Park), and District 9 (West Yellowstone). All members can vote for candidates across districts via online, mail-in ballots, or in-person at the Energy Expo on June 21 at North Fremont High School in Ashton, where results will be announced.
In District 4, Delwyn Jensen challenges incumbent Anna Lindstedt. District 7 incumbent Jodi Stiehl and District 9 incumbent Doug Schmier run unopposed. Candidate video statements are available at fallriverelectric.com under “Energy Expo,” and written statements are included in the mailed Energy Expo booklet with ballots. Fall River Electric emphasizes democratic member control to maintain reliable, cost-effective energy services. For more details, visit www.fallriverelectric.com or contact Ted Austin at 986-497-5316.
