The Wyoming Highway Patrol is reporting a fatal head-on collision Tuesday night south of Daniel Junction on US Highway 189. According to their report, a 2014 Ford Escape driven by 26-year-old Cory Sequera of Big Piney was southbound and crossed over the center line, colliding with a 2009 Dodge Ram driven by 22-year-old Cassidy Jensen of Pinedale. Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt. Sequera was pronounced dead at the scene and Jensen was transported to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County for injuries she sustained in the crash. The reason for Sequera leaving his lane of travel is still under investigation.
