The final total acreage burned in the Swinging Bridge Fire Sunday was released late Monday night and amounted to 102 acres. This is an increase from previous reports of 80 acres having been involved due to more accurate mapping, and not significant fire growth. Despite the fast advancement of the wildfire, no structures were damaged. Despite the change in weather Monday and Tuesday, fire restrictions are still in effect across the Forest and many surrounding counties.
