Much of the area will be dry and warm through the weekend with breezy to windy areas and minimum afternoon relative humidities in the the teens to lower 20s. Today and Sunday look particularly dry with minimum relative humidities getting as low as 10 to 12 percent in some central areas.
The strongest wind may be Sunday and could be the most critical fire weather day for the central
and southwest sections. Isolated dry thunderstorms are possible in the southwest this afternoon.
Check for local burning restrictions in your area. Outdoor burning is highly discouraged! Activities that produce sparks, such as grinding and welding are not recommended. Avoid parking in high grass and do not throw cigarette butts out. Drown your campfires!
