Fire officials in Yellowstone National Park have announced that thanks to the recent precipitation in the region, the fire danger has dropped to a low rating. However, that does not mean that the park is fireproof and caution should be exercised with any use of fire. To date, there have been nine fires in Yellowstone: five are out and four are being monitored. No restrictions or closures are currently in effect in the park. As yet, the fire danger in neighboring Grand Teton National Park and Bridger Teton National Forest has not been reduced from moderate.
