Amidst dangerous and very high fire danger in the region, Teton County dispatched resources to quickly put out a fire next to Highway 22 on Wednesday.
About 2:00 pm, fire units were dispatched to the hillside near the intersection of Spring Gulch Road and Highway 22 for the valley’s seventh wildfire of the season.
The fire was held to minimal acreage.
The first fire was on May 20th and was caused by lightning. Four of the seven fires were human caused though no official cause has been listed for this fire.
