Jackson Hole Fire/EMS has moved Fire Station 1 to its temporary home, while the permanent Station 1 undergoes renovation.
On Tuesday, personnel and equipment officially moved from 60 East Pearl Avenue to 305 West Snow King Avenue, next to the Teton County Fairgrounds. During the renovations there will be no public access to Station 1 on Pearl Avenue, but Fire Inspectors, Electrical Inspectors and Chief Officers will remain in that building throughout construction.
The Administrative Office building located next to the permanent Fire Station 1 at 40 East Pearl Avenue will remain open form 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Construction is expected to start this summer and will last approximately 18 months.
