An afternoon fire on Snow King yesterday prompted a valley-wide call out but was quickly contained by the first arriving units.
Jackson/Teton County Fire Chief Brady Hansen says any fire on Snow King takes highest priority and so all stations and Teton Interagency Fire were all paged out. Hansen says the fire was located just above the top of the Cowboy Coaster and involved an uphill hose-lay.
Hansen says the fire was held to about a quarter acre, but the probable cause was not immediately available.
