This year, Independence Day celebrations in Jackson Hole will be greatly scaled back from normal. The Chamber of Commerce announced yesterday that the decision has been made to cancel the Fourth of July Town Parade due to the inability to meet guidelines set forth for the health and safety of the community and its visitors. However, the Chamber plans to focus on promoting other safe and fun Fourth of July Celebrations, including fireworks, supporting local businesses, visiting nearby Parks, family time and more. This decision comes in light of updated guidelines that a 250-person limit with six feet between each household must be maintained at all outdoor gatherings to ensure proper safety. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has confirmed their fireworks display on July 3rd and 4th and Snow King Mountain fireworks are confirmed for the 4th.
