Teton County Health Department officials are encouraging people in the community to get vaccinated for flu early, and are providing walk-in flu clinics starting September 23rd. People looking to get a flu shot may visit the Health Department anytime between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Mondays and Fridays. All the vaccines this year are mercury and preservative free. The department has quadrivalent vaccine, which provides protection against four strains of the flu virus, and high dose vaccine for adults ages 65+. Anyone who would like to receive a vaccine in addition to a flu shot should call the Health Department for an appointment.
