Bridger-Teton National Forest has launched a website to help people visiting the area deal with the overcrowded camping facilities around the forest. A new Story Map visual presentation with maps and current camping tips can be found at Camping in the Jackson and Blackrock Districts – Story Map Additionally, wooden stand-up sign boards have been placed in key locations around town, around the forest, and in Grand Teton National Park which contain current camping information with large printed maps, camping ideas, and tips for success. The forest’s front desk staff continues to receive a heavy volume of phone calls regarding camping, particularly from people showing up late in the day or with large vehicles. Most of the developed campgrounds and dispersed campsites in the Jackson and Moran areas are filling by noon. However, campgrounds south of Jackson, such as Kozy and Wolf Creek, fill less quickly.
