The COVID pandemic has impacted traditional free Thanksgiving community dinners this year, but those who might otherwise find themselves without the traditional meal can be provided one on a take-out basis. Hole Food Rescue and One22 are have teamed up to provide meals for pick up/drive through on Thanksgiving Day at the Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole on South Park Loop Road between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Many households have pre-ordered dinners, but community members are welcome to stop by if in need. First Baptist Church on the corner Kelly and Cache Streets is providing pick up/drive through dinners between 1:00 and 3:00 pm on Thanksgiving Day as well. In Alpine, a free community dinner is being served at the Donn Wooden Civic Center beginning at 3:00 pm. Those who cannot travel to the civic center can have dinner delivered to them by calling the town of Alpine today to arrange it, or those wishing not to gather may pick up their meal and take it home. The meal is being provided compliments of Top of the Rockies.
