Game Creek Fire Forces Evacuation Briefing at 8PM

A wildfire in Game Creek has caused Teton County Emergency Management to issue an Immediate evacuation order for Henry’s Road, Game Creek, Squaw Creek, and Porcupine Creek. evacuee staging is at Munger Mountain School and a briefing will be held.
Several aircraft and personnel are on the scene.
Neighbors in Jackson have made pastures available for horses and the Animal Shelter has been opened.

THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS TRANSMITTED AT THE REQUEST OF THE COUNTY
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY.
DUE TO AN ONGOING WILDFIRE, THE FOLLOWING EVACUATION NOTICE IS IN
EFFECT. THIS INCLUDES, HENRY`S ROAD, GAME CREEK, SQUAW CREEK AND
PORCUPINE CREEK SUBDIVISIONS. STAGING FOR THOSE EVACUATED WILL BE
AVAILABLE AT THE MUNGER MOUNTAIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PARKING LOT. A
BRIEFING WILL TAKE PLACE AT 8 PM
