The general election ballot in Teton County has gotten a little longer after Wes Gardner received enough write-in votes to become the third Democrat running for Teton County Commissioner.
Gardner, a local businessman who owns Teton Toys, will join incumbent commissioners Luther Probst and Mark Newcomb on the Democrat side of the race to fill three seats on the board.
Republicans Peter Long, Tom Segerstrom, and Kasey Mateosky were selected during the primary election last week to appear on the Republican ballot.
They are all seeking to take one of three seats currently occupied by Probst, Newcomb, and Mark Barron, who is not seeking reelection.
Gardner, who has previously sought office as an independent candidate, has served as a member of the START board.
