With travel on the minds of many around the region this week, gasoline prices have been holding steady since last week locally. The average price for gasoline in Jackson Hole surveyed by Gasbuddy this week still totals $3.04 per gallon of unleaded regular.
The average across Wyoming has dropped a penny to $2.70 per gallon with the lowest price found once again in Gillette where three stations have priced their unleaded regular at $2.37 per gallon.
Gasoline in Teton Valley remains $3.12 a gallon. Nationally, AAA Auto Club says gas prices have been fluctuating as of late, but are currently cheaper than the national average at this time last year, giving Americans a little extra money to spend on travel. For the majority of Americans, AAA expects gas prices to be fairly similar to last year’s Thanksgiving holiday, which averaged $2.57.
