Our weekly gasoline survey shows the average price for gasoline in Jackson Hole decreased 1¢ over the past week, with the average of prices surveyed by Gasbuddy this week totaling $2.89 per gallon of unleaded regular. This week’s prices in the Valley ranged from $2.79 to $3.19 per gallon. Jackson’s average is still substantially higher than the Wyoming state average of $2.67 per gallon which increased 4¢ since last week. The lowest price in Wyoming was found in Casper with one station there pricing gasoline at $2.32 a gallon. Gasoline surveyed in Teton Valley remained steady at $2.95 a gallon. Nationally, AAA Auto Club says the average has increased 1¢ over the past week to $2.66 a gallon. Gasoline prices are anticipated to climb by at least a dime in the weeks ahead due to the loss of the Saudi Oil. Alternatively, compressed natural gas in Jackson is currently priced at $1.80 a gallon.
