The average price of a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline continues to drop in most of the nation, but continues to rise here. The Energy Information Administrationreports the national average dropped nearly six cents from a week ago. The U.S. average retail price for regular gasoline fell to $2.75 a gallon on Monday. Pump prices were highest in the West Coast states at 3.45 a gallon, down 3.2 cents from a week ago. Prices were lowest in the Gulf Coast region at 2.46 a gallon, down 6.8 cents. Meanwhile in Teton County, the average of prices surveyed by Gasbuddy average $3.17 a gallon; up a penny from last week. Gasoline in neighboring Teton County, Idaho averages $3.19 at this time. The least expensive in the state according to Gasbuddy is $2.65 a gallon in Gillette. AAA Auto Club reports the statewide average in Wyoming is $2.91.
