Gasoline prices continue to fall in Jackson Hole and across the nation. The Energy Information Administration in Washington D.C. says the national average for a gallon of unleaded gasoline is now $2.25 per gallon, up a penny from a week ago. Pump prices were highest in the West Coast states at 2.98 a gallon, down 3.2 cents from a week ago. Prices were lowest in the Gulf Coast region at 1.91 a gallon, up 2.4 cents. Closer to home, Gasbuddy reports Wyoming’s state average has again dropped 6¢from last week. The state average is now $2.44 for a gallon of unleaded regular, with the lowest price – $2.03 a gallon – found in Gillette. Here in Jackson, the prices were unchanged from last week with the average of prices surveyed by Gasbuddy currently at $2.51 per gallon. Prices in the survey ranged from $2.41 to $2.79 a gallon.
