Gasoline prices locally continue to trend well ahead of the national average this week, while the national average has decreased by one cent. A survey of 8 stations in Jackson this week shows the average price for gasoline here dropped 2¢ to $2.51 per gallon of unleaded regular, with prices at the pumps this week ranging from $2.42 to $2.79 per gallon. Gasbuddy lists Wyoming’s state average at $2.18 per gallon which is one cent less than last week. The lowest price in the state was found in Laramie where one station had regular unleaded gasoline for $1.79 a gallon. The average price for gasoline in Teton Valley, Idaho has dropped to $2.45 a gallon this week. Nationally, AAA Auto Club says the average across the 50 states is now $2.18 a gallon.
