Gasoline prices continue to fall, both locally and across the nation. According to Gasbuddy, this week’s survey shows the average price for gasoline in Jackson Hole has dropped 18¢ to $2.06 per gallon of unleaded regular, with prices at the pump this week ranging from $2.04 to $2.19 per gallon. Wyoming’s state average in the meantime dropped 8¢ to $2.08 per gallon with the lowest price in Wyoming found in Laramie where one station is pricing gasoline at $1.49 a gallon. Gasoline fell 20¢ in Teton Valley at $2.19 a gallon. Nationally, AAA Auto Club says the average across the 50 states has decreased 7¢ to $1.92 a gallon – the lowest it has been since 1993. AAA analysts say with fewer drivers on the road due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the prices are expected to remain low or even fall further.
