Just how the skyrocketing gasoline prices will affect this summer’s tourism to Jackson Hole is unknown. Wyoming Office of Tourism Spokesperson Piper Cunningham says it is just too early to tell.
She explains, “Historically the price of gas has not impacted Americans’ willingness to invest in travel but we’ll keep monitoring this as we progress through the spring.”
Tourism in Jackson Hole during the summertime relies more on ground transportation including private vehicles and tour-busses than does the winter tourist season.
