If you haven’t noticed, over the past week or so, gasoline prices have shot up significantly. Checking this week’s gasoline survey, the average price of unleaded regular gasoline nationally has climbed by 10¢ to 2.73 per gallon, while the average of prices in Jackson Hole has risen 19¢ over the past week.
A survey of eight stations in Jackson shows the average price for gasoline here has risen to $2.68 per gallon of unleaded regular. Prices at the pumps range from $2.47 to $2.94 per gallon.
Gasbuddy reports Wyoming’s state average increased 15¢ to $2.59 per gallon with the lowest price in the state found in Laramie and Wheatland where one station in each of those communities has regular unleaded gasoline for $2.25 a gallon. The average price for gasoline in Teton Valley, Idaho has climbed an average of 22¢ as well to $2.79 a gallon this week.
