The Coronavirus restrictions have impacted most of the valley’s favorite fundraising activities this year, although some organizations have figured out adaptations to stage their events in one form or another. In the case of the Hoback Volunteer Fire Department, you can still get their popular barbeque ribs this year in a drive-through format. While they can’t host the familiar community barbeque cook-out this year which also served as a fun interaction with their neighbors, they are offering their locally famous ribs. They urge the public to drive by the fire station at the Junction today between 2:00 and 7:00 pm and get them for $25/ rack. Proceeds each year are used to help with training and obtaining equipment.
