Governor Mark Gordon yesterday held a signing ceremony for his Migration Corridor Executive Order in a room filled with citizens and agencies who cam together to complete the study leading up to the issuance of the order. Gordon reacted with appreciation for those who joined in the ceremony, saying it was a true reflection on the process.
Moreover, Gordon told the group that the measure is part of the trend of Wyoming leading the way nationally to protect its wildlife.
The order provides a practical way to identify, designate and protect a few migration routes, respect landowners’ private rights and maintain Wyoming’s wildlife and resources. Gordon pledged to put the provisions of the order into effect immediately.
