Not unlike neighboring Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park has posted 2021 visitation statistics that eclipse all previous years.
According to the National Park Service Visitor Use Statistics Office, Grand Teton hosted 5,473,101 visitors to the park over the 12-month period ending December 30th.
That’s a 21.36% increase over 2020 when 4,509,669 visitors were counted. It was a 7.12% increase over visitation in 2018 which had been the busiest year in the park’s history until now. December alone saw 168,756 visitors to in Grand Teton National Park, down slightly from last year.
