JH Airport Board recognized the late Senator Grant Larson on his dedication to the Jackson Hole Airport, the Jackson Hole community and Wyoming with a Resolution at last Wednesday’s Airport Board Meeting. Board President Jerry Blann, recalled, “he would always entrain me with stories of the first years of JHMR, back then the “Ski Corp” and of building the first tram. Senator Larson was an exceptional individual for our state and aeronautics in Wyoming.” Fellow board member John Eastman noted that Senator Larson, “encouraged me to step in and be active in the community – he set a great example on how to be a leader and engage in the valley.” A former Air Force officer and pilot, Larson served on the Wyoming Aeronautics Commission in 2002 and served 13 years on the Jackson Hole Airport Board.
