This morning a 41 year old male from Maryland was jogging alone on a trail just off of the Stamp Meadows road in Island Park and surprised a sow grizzly bear with a cub. She attacked and he was bitten several times.
The jogger returned to the cabin he was staying in and called 911 at 7:30 this morning. He refused medical treatment and was taken by family to the hospital.
